Leoncio, Mahsuri Head Chef, has spent that last 20 years specialising in Thai cuisine. Originally hailing from the Philippines, Len relocated to Australia to bring his passion and culinary Thai cheffing skills to the shores of Kingscliff. The past 12 years Len has been the driving force behind Mahsuri Thai creating authentic Thai dishes using his signature flair, which has won Mahsuri best Thai with AGFG for many years in a row now.
If you are staying nearby, or passing through the region, Mahsuri Thai is a must-visit! Pull up a seat and Indulge in his famous melt-in-your-mouth Massaman Beef, that he slow cooks for over 6 hours in a roasted peanut and potato sauce. If you’re in the mood for noodles, why not try Len’s all-time favousite dish. the classic Pad Thai of rice noodles wok tossed with crushed peanuts, Kaffir lime, egg and sliced chicken breast. And lastly, to settle the palette, Len’s decadent Thai Milk Creme Caramel of rich caramel milk custard, will have you coming back for more.
